Cupertino, CA, United States (4E) – Last month, Apple unveiled the iPhone X along with the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus, making everyone excited to get their hands on one of the most powerful smartphones of the year. With that being said, here are the top 5 things about the device:
Before the iPhone X was revealed, there were already rumors claiming that it would cost around $1,000. After it was finally unveiled, that rumor turned out to be true. In fact in Europe, it will cost 1,150 EUR.
Pre-orders will start on October 27 and the deliveries will begin on November 3. However, those dates could be changed or there may be some delays for other customers, because the iPhone X’s Face ID sensor is said to be taking time to assemble than expected.
In terms of security, the iPhone X will feature Face ID which works using its TrueDept camera systems that enables it to recognize the owner even if he/she is wearing a hat, sunglasses, beard or new hairstyle.
Aside from its 5.8-inch 82.9 percent screen-to-body ratio, the iPhone X also has a “True Tone” display which will match the color temperature of your display to your ambience, a 3D Touch everywhere on the display, and Dolby Vision support for its HDR display.
The iPhone X supports wireless charging via Qi-compatible accessories which Apple will later introduce a proprietary charging solution called AirPower earlier next year. In terms of battery life, the said smartphone will last 2 hours longer than the iPhone 7.
